Who is Eligible for Treatment?

At Nordic Stem Cell, we provide stem cell therapy for men facing erectile dysfunction after prostatectomy following prostate cancer. We understand the importance of finding effective solutions to improve your quality of life. However, not all patients may be eligible for our treatment. To help you to understand if you qualify for our therapy, please review the following criteria.

We Can Help:

  1. Post-Prostatectomy: Men who have undergone prostatectomy, regardless of the surgical technique used (bilateral nerve-sparing, unilateral nerve-sparing or non-nerve-sparing).
  2. Erectile Dysfunction (ED): Men experiencing erectile dysfunction as a result of prostatectomy.
  3. Sexual Activity/Interest: Eligible men should have an active interest in sexual function and the desire to improve their erectile function.
  4. Timing of ED: We can treat men with erectile dysfunction that persists from 3 to 24 months following prostatectomy.

Do Not Qualify:

  1. Residual Tumor Suspicions: Men with active cancer or residual tumor growth do not qualify for our treatment.
  2. Urinary Incontinence: Men experiencing urinary incontinence will not be eligible for treatment.
  3. HIV and hepatitis-Positive Status: Unfortunately, we cannot provide treatment to men who are HIV and/or hepatitis-positive.

    Who May Qualify:

    1. Health Complications: Men having underlying health conditions that could pose risks or complications during anesthesia may be excluded.
    2. Diabetic Men: We currently lack sufficient evidence of how successful our treatment is for diabetic men.
    3. Anticoagulant Treatment: Men currently on anticoagulant therapy that cannot be temporarily interrupted may be excluded due to potential bleeding risks.
